Discovery Consumer Products will use Europe’s biggest licensing trade show to focus Discovery Adventures, the recently launched lifestyle brand. Inspired by the attire of production crews who help Discovery’s popular shows come to life, Discovery Adventures is designed to appeal to consumers who are looking for comfortable, practical and reliable gear to explore the world around them. For more than 30 years, Discovery has been delivering content that inspires curiosity and embraces the spirit of adventure. Now, with the launch of the new Discovery Adventures brand, fans that enjoy Discovery’s programs and content will have a new way to engage their sense of curiosity and need for exploration, whether it’s hiking, mountain biking, or taking a road trip. Discovery Adventures Park opened this year in Moganshan, China. The park was created to be a destination that gives people the chance to challenge themselves and go beyond their limits for an experience unlike any other. Discovery Consumer Products in partnership with Emaar Entertainment, the leisure and entertainment subsidiary of Emaar Properties have joined forces for the opening of the Discovery Channel Store a hybrid retail endeavor located within the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. The new project seamlessly integrates digital technology, responsible merchandise, and marine life creating a truly unique experience. As part of the partnership, the first-of-its-kind ‘Discovery Channel Shark Week’ exhibit is now on display at the aquarium. The new exhibition, which includes Hammerhead Sharks, Bonnethead Sharks and Devil Rays, brings Discovery Channel’s iconic Shark Week franchise to life by providing guests glimpses into the fascinating world of sharks through truly innovative and interactive displays.
